The Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera collection features six batons of distinguished Polish or Poland-based conductors, including Cezar Trombini, Adolf Sonnenfeld, Antoni Januszewski, Michał Piotrowski, Mikołaj Mikitiuczek and (possibly) Stanisław Moniuszko, to whom one of the baton is attributed which comes from the former collection of the pianist and collector Aleksander Michałowski. The batons are usually supplied with dedications related to the conductors’ respective anniversaries.
