Baton made of light wood with silver fittings; conical body, grip fitting engraved with acanthus leaves; plain tip fitting; at 2/5 of the length, a metal ring was attached with an engraved inscription on a decorative shield surrounded with acanthus leaves; all fittings serrated on the sides. The baton was presented to a conductor (?) initialed AW by the ladies of an ensemble with the acronym BHS.
