this lightweight baton was made of two wood species; the grip is wider, lathed, fitted with a double oval boss; a narrow brass ring was placed above the grip with decorative dotted imprints binding the two wooden components together; above the ring, the core is light-coloured and narrows towards an extended, oval boss at the upper tip.
