black baton with silver fittings; conical body, grip fitting slightly widened and rounded on top; tip fitting rounded on top; both fittings engraved with acanthus leaves; at 1/3 of the length, a wide silver ring with an inscription frame, engraved with a floral ornament; hallmarked in London in 1906, silversmith’s mark E·N (Ebenezer Newman & Co.); baton placed in a black, narrow case lined with purple and blue cloth. Similar batons can be found in J.S. Witkiewicz’s collections under inventory numbers JSW 81, 82, 107
