Black baton with metal fittings; conical body made of dark, French-polished wood; fittings in various styles; on the grip, a metal fitting with a flat top, decorated with an impressed twig pattern; on the tip, a rounded brass fitting; at 1/3 of the length, a metal ring widening into a worn, barely legible inscription. As per inscription, the baton belonged to W.H.(?) Kohr (?), an obscure English or American conductor unknown
