Black baton with silver fittings; slightly narrowing body, made of dark, French-polished wood; large, conical grip fitting, engraved with geometrical patterns, with an inscription on the convex top; tip fitting engraved analogically, finished with a small ball. Hallmarked in Austria in 1921-1925, silver fineness 800. The inscription contains the name of an Austrian pilgrimage destination, the Mariazell sanctuary, famous for its Marian cult, dated July 1924.
