symmetrical baton with a cylindrical body made of wood coated with black varnish, with long, ivory tips decorated with ring-shaped engravings finished with balls; in the mid section of the core, there is a short metal band with an inscription, according to which the baton was presented to an unnamed conductor by the members of the Women Mandolinists’ Club “Trofeo” in September 1927.
