Black baton with a silver grip; conical body made of light, black-lacquered wood; sharply pointed wooden tip; plain, rounded grip fitting; numerous signs of wear and tear. Hallmarked in London in 1956, silversmith’s mark F.[?]D in an oval field. A similar baton can be found in the same collection under inventory number JSW 73
